For spouses starting to undertake new roles with the beginning of this process, each new cycle requires learning and adapting different roles and behavior patterns. In this sense, the spouses who overtake the role of husband and wife with the beginning of marriage assume the role of motherfather together with the birth of the child, the role of the educator as the child begins to read, the role of psychologist when the child reaches adolescence and the role of grandfather-grandmother when they have grandchild.
