Abstract
The frst Otoman event-documenter historian Naima is a historian that has sociological observatons on seventeenth century Otoman society. Following İbn Haldun Naima is trying to overstep him. Naima’s work Tarih-i Naima altough not as Mukaddime is a rich source on especially religion and society relatonships. The artcle deals with in detail the sources of Tarih-i Naima.
