Abstract

In this study the “Aproaches of religious culture and ethics teachers to other religions and ıts members” has been analyzed with a qualitatve design. The scope of the research consisted of religious culture and ethichs teacher / religious teachers who were teaching religious course. The sample consisted of 12teachers who are in charge at private, ofcial and foreign schools in Turkey and abroad. The research data was obtained by resource scanning with semi-structured questons on deep interviews with the teachers. In the conceptual framework of the study, from theology to pedagogy, in order to understand teachers’ approaches, conceptual discussions conducted on religious diversity was concluded on three different ttles; theological, sociocultural and pedagogical. As a result of the fndings of interviews with teachers; encountering practce of differences in one to one, in approaches to other religions and its members, both in daily life and mentally has been observed as a factor. It has been conclusived that obvious differentaton In approaches of teachers who are encountering practce, before and afer,has experienced. It has been drew atenton to that the informaton recieved by teachers at pre-service and inservice was not enough. On the subject of teaching the diversity in the classroom and preparaton of different teaching materials which are taking into account the different characteristcs of students; techers need to be taken in-service. On common problem areas and common ground, it has been observed that teachers were awareness and open to cooperaton.
