For this purpose, sociological meaning changes which the concept has undergone since the frst centuries were discussed and focused on the dimension of sociological meaning of the concept of the public sphere in the modern era. The relatonship of modern public sphere between religion was specifcally examined. The case resultng from the transformaton of the modern public sphere and what the role of the religion in this process were questoned. It has been identfed that religion and religious groups have a very large share in the formaton of autonomous public spheres in Turkey. It is possible to try to understand this process from the examples in many areas such as economic, cultural, media, sivil society. But, the economy era has the characteristc of foundaton for all other felds in which autonomous publics are formed by reflectng the Islamic identty. Because of this importance, as a sample from the area of economy, the banking sector which is a controversial area was selected.The banking sector is one of the most difcult areas which can be formed around religious values.Therefore, depth interviews were conducted with prepared questons based the manager, staff and customer in fve branches of a fnancial insttuton in Konya claiming established with the Islamic principles.
