Abstract

If we want to understand the very human being correctly, I think of special importance to consider man on two different dimensions. Unless we keep this very basic distncton in mind, we shall be easily led in to confusion. We see clearly that the Qur’an, even before Ibn Arabî and those who follow him, consider man on two different dimensions: Ontological dimension and individual dimension.
