In this respect, this study examines psychological and sociological effects of the Van earthquake which occurred in 2011. The empirical data was analyzed according to sociological and psychological approaches. Having studied the results of the Van earthquake, the present study not only indicated how human beings in general undergo psycho-social processes afer the event but also explored these processes as for psychological and sociological perspectves.
