Abstract
In this artcle, the place, importance and functonsof the authority of mufi in Turkish Cypriot Comminity are evaluated from Otoman administraton untl today. The structure and mechanism of the mufi in Otoman administraton and the chances of this outhority in Britsh administraton are researched. Also the positon, actvites, lacnesses and reconstracton of the authority of mufi in Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus are dealt.
