Abstract

The fnd of Qumran Manuscripts in 1947 is the remarkable discovery of modern tmes in terms of theological thought. They are dated to ancient tmes between 250 BC and 70 AD. This period is very signifcant for both Judaism and Christanity. Then, modern Rabbinic Judaism and Christanity took their forms at this period respectvely. Therefore, Qumran Manuscripts play an important role in order to understand this structural period. Besides, they are also very important for Islam, which recognizes that Judaism and Christanity are the signifcant experiences of Abrahamic traditon, in spite of critcizing them. This paper evaluates the concepts of “son”, “sin” (which manuscripts consider them important), “New Covenant” and “Teacher of Righteousness” (which make Essenes distnctve from other Jewish sects) briefly. Finally, the theological assertons, which theologians and scholars argue about Judaism, Christanity and Islam on the basis of Qumran Manuscripts, are concisely discussed.
