Abstract

In this artcle, the meanings of the concept of anxiety will be explained in the literature of psychology and philosophy, its similarites and differences will be pointed out in two felds. In this context, frstly dictonary meanings of anxiety in psychology will be explained. Then the meaning of concept of anxiety in “Psychoanalysis” will be pointed out. Finally dictonary meaning of anxiety in philosophy will be explained and the meaning of anxiety in philosophy will be pointed out with the views of existentalist thinkers.
