Abstract
Öz: Farklı dönem ve kültürlerde ortaya çıkan muhafazakâr düşünce ifadesi ne yeni bir olguya ne de yeni bir sürece işaret eder. Bu düşünce biçiminin özellikle Aydınlanma felsefesinin kaynaklık ettiği ve modern olarak bilinen değişimlere karşı eleştirel bir söylem geliştirdiği söylenebilir. Genelde Fransız İhtilaliyle başlatılan modernleşme ve karşısında gelişen muhafazakâr söylem, zamanla onu savunan düşünürler, ele alındığı basın kaynakları ve onu benimseyen geniş kitleler aracılığıyla tüm dünyaya yayılmıştır. Türkiye toplumunun modernleşme süreci, bu süreçte ön plana çıkan din, gelenek, değişim gibi temalar, muhafazakâr söylemin gelişim süreci ve sorunları Muhafazakâr Düşünce dergisinde ele alınmaktadır. Bu makalenin amacı, muhafazakâr söylemin başat temalarını ele alan söz konusu dergideki çalışmaların, yorumlayıcı bir yaklaşım ve içerik analiz tekniğiyle sosyolojik bir analizini sunmaktır.

Abstract
Abstarct: The concept of "conservative thought" emerging in different periods and cultures does not point to a new phenomenon or a new process. It has been argued that this way of thinking was the source of the Enlightenment philosophy and developed a critical stance against the challenges posed by the modernist discourse. In general, the modernization, which started with the French Revolution, and the conservative discourse that developed in its face spread to the whole world through the thinkers who defended it, the press, and the large masses that embraced it. Several dominant issues and concepts such as religion, tradition, change, development, and conservative rhetoric, which had a central role in the modernization process of Turkish society, have all been discussed in the journal of Muhafazakar Düşünce. This article aims to present a sociological analysis of the studies in this journal that address the dominant themes of conservative discourse, through the interpretive approach and the content analysis.
