Abstract

Educaton can be defne as the fact that a learned and experienced person transfers his knowledge and experience to the unlearned one, shows the right way and helps him/her. In doing this, it is aimed to keep the person lacking life experience and knowledge from making mistake in social life, and to socialize him, thus reintroducing him/her to society. This holy mission in queston is given by God, the greatest teacher, to the mankind through the Prophet and taught things unknown to them. The mission and responsibility of teaching and learning is the holy heritage inherited from all eternity and a process to contnue untl the end of the day. In order that the educaton-teaching actvites could be maintained and the expected output can be obtained in ideal sense, it is necessary, both on the basis of teacher and student, that the relatonships must be organized on the basis of mutual love and respect. In order that the teacher who serves as an important actor in this process can be effectve and efcient, frst and foremost he/she must be person who devoted himself to his profession, chose it voluntarily and willingly, and combined his personal and technical characteristcs with the enthusiasm of the love of profession.
