Abstract
Düşünce ufkumuzun genişlemesinin önünde birtakım engellerin olduğu söylenebilir. Bu engellerin başında geçmişte yapılmış çalışmalara yönelik olan ön yargılar, bu çalışmaların bilimsel incelemeye değer görülmemesi, özgün fikirlerin yer almadığı gibi varsayımlar yer almaktadır. Oysa geçmişte üretilen her araştırma, ilim dünyasının ve zihinsel gelişimin ilerlemesine katkı sunmaya devam etmektedir. Ayrıca bu yapıtlar, akla uygun, tutarlı ve sistemli bilgileri ve hakikat arayışını barındırdıkları için felsefenin de ilgi alanına girmektedir. Bu bağlamda edebî eserler içerisinde yer alan divanlar, mesneviler, tasavvufi öğretiler, atasözleri, destanlar ve name türleri de felsefi düşünceye kaynaklık yapmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın temel amacı, Hikmetname başlığı altında kaleme alınmış eserleri merkeze alarak bu zengin içerikten örnekler vermektir. Söz konusu eserlerin tarih, sosyoloji, din, felsefe gibi farklı alanlara ait bilgiler içerdiği, ayrıca her bir eserin döneminin sosyo-kültürel yapısını da yansıttığı görülmektedir. Yaptığımız araştırmalar sonucunda geçmişten bugüne kadar yüzlerce name türünün yazıldığı bilgisine ulaşılmıştır. Bu bağlamda söz konusu eserlerin İslam felsefesi başta olmak üzere birçok alana kaynak niteliği taşıdığı düşünülmektedir. Araştırmamızda ulaşılabilen eserlerin müelliflerinin hayatı ve eserlerine yer verildikten sonra yapıtların içerikleri hakkında bilgiler verilmiştir.

Abstract
It can be said that there are certain obstacles to the expansion of our intellectual horizons. Among the foremost of these obstacles are prejudices against past works, assumptions that these studies are not worthy of scientific examination, and the belief that they lack original ideas. Furthermore, specific to philosophical thought, limiting philosophy solely to the triangle of ontology (existence), epistemology (knowledge), and axiology (values) can be seen as another barrier that narrows the scope of philosophy and, consequently, our intellectual horizon. However, philosophy is not confined to this narrow framework; it is, within itself, a way of thinking that is rational, coherent, systematic, and harbors a search for knowledge and truth. In this context, literary works such as divans (collected poems), masnavis (poetic couplets), mystical teachings, proverbs, epics, and name genres also serve as sources for philosophical thought. The primary objective of this study is to analyze this rich intellectual content within a defined scope, centering on works penned under the title of Hikmetname. Our research has ascertained that hundreds of texts belonging to the name genre have been composed from antiquity to the present. It is observed that these works contain knowledge pertaining to diverse fields such as history, sociology, religion, and philosophy. Furthermore, each work reflects the socio-cultural structure of its respective period. In this context, it is posited that these works can serve as a significant resource for numerous disciplines, foremost among them Islamic philosophy. In our research, after presenting the biographies and oeuvres of the authors of the accessible works, an analysis of the contents of these texts is provided.
