Abstract
Aristo mantığının İslâm düşüncesini etkilemesinden önce de İslâm toplumunda belli akıl yürütme ve çıkarım yöntemleri vardı. Ancak Aristo mantığının Müslü- man düşünürleri etkilediği de kabul edilmesi gereken bir gerçektir. İslam âlimlerinin birçok alanda sistematik nitelikteki bu mantık ilmini kullanmaya başlamasıyla akıl yürütme ve düşünme biçimlerinde önemli değişiklikler görülmüştür. Fıkıh usûlünden Teolojiye birçok disiplinde Aristo mantığının izlerini görmek mümkündür. Bu araştrmada Kelam ilminde önemli bir otorite olan Ebu’l-Hasen el-Eş’arî’nin düşünce sistematiğinde bu etkinin izlerini tespit etmeye ve genel olarak mantıktaki akıl yürütme yöntemleri ile Eş’arî’nin kullandığı çıkarım yöntemlerini karşılaştırarak benzerlik ve farklılıkları ortaya koymaya çalıştık

Abstract
Before Aristotelian logic influenced Islamic thought, methods of reasoning and argumentaton have been used in Islamic societes. Yet, it should be noted that Aristotelian logic had influenced Muslim thinkers. Afer Muslim scholars started to apply this systematc science of logic, signifcant changes had occurred in ways of thinking and reasoning. It is possible to chase the Aristotelian influences at several disciplines from Usul al-fqh (Principles of Islamic Jurisprudence) to Theology. In this study, we tried to identfy the Aristotelian influence on the system of thought of Abu al-Hasan al-Ash’ari an important authority on science of Kalam (Philosophical Theology) and try to compare and contrast the methods of reasoning in logic and the methods of inference that Ash’ari has used.
