Abstract
Hac ibadet farklı din ve geleneklerde çoğunlukla “arınma” özlemine dayalı olarak gerçekleştirilen ve “hacı” nın kutsal kabul etiği değerlerle bütünleşme idealini ortaya koyan yolculukların başında gelmektedir. Bu çalışmada hac olgusu herhangi bir din özelinde olmaktan çok “kutsallaşma ve arınma” ideali çerçevesinde teorik olarak ele alınmış ve bu yolculuklarda bir hacıyı kuşatan sembolik bağlamlar “kutsal zaman, kutsal mekân, sembol” gibi kavramlar üzerinden çözümlenmeye çalışılmıştır.

Abstract
Pilgrimage (hadj) is the most important of the journeys which are performed mainly on the basis of longing for "circumcision" in different religions and traditons and which introduce the ideal of integraton with the values "the pilgrim (hadji)" enshrines. In this study, pilgrimage fact has been handled theoretcally within the framework of the ideal of "sacredness and circumcision" although it is not specifc to any religion and symbolic contexts surrounding a pilgrim (hadji) during these journeys have been tried to be analyzed through the concepts such as "sacred tme, sacred place, symbol".
