Abstract
Bu çalışmada iktsadi tutum ve davranışları belirleyen ve dönüştüren zihniyet olgusunun anlam evreni ortaya koyularak, Türk toplumunun egemen iktsadi zihniyet tpolojilerinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştr. Araştrmada veri toplama aracı olarak “Kişisel Bilgi Anket” ve “İktsadi Zihniyet Ölçeği” bölümlerinden oluşan bir anket formu kullanılmıştr. Bu anket formu, Bat Akdeniz Bölgesi’nde “tabakalı, basit tesadüf örnekleme” yoluyla 1058 kişiye uygulanmıştr. Saha çalışmasından elde edilen veriler, madde tutum derecesi bakımından analiz edilmiştr. Araştrmamızda ortaya çıkan bu egemen iktsadi zihniyet tplerinin, varsayımsal bir açıklama çabası olduğu, bu bakımdan bundan sonra yapılacak olan çalışmalara kaynaklık edebileceği düşünülmektedir.

Abstract
The aim of this study is to determine dominant economic mentality types of Turkish society by revealing the universe of meaning which determines and changes the economic attudes and behaviors. As a means of data collecton, a survey form is used which consists of two parts, personal informaton survey and economic mentality scale. The survey form is applied with “stratfed simple random sampling method” on 1058 people living in West Mediterranean Region of Turkey. The data obtained from feldwork were analyzed in terms of the item ftng level. These dominant economic mentality types, emerged in our study, are presumptve explanaton effort and in this respect, it is thought that they can be source to other studies in the future
