Abstract
İnanç tarzları ve denetm odağı arasındaki ilişkiyi incelediğimiz bu çalışmada iki kavramın açıklığa kavuşturulması gerekmektedir. Bu kavramlardan birincisi, “inanç tarzları” iken ikincisi, “denetm odağıdır”. Araştrmamızın sınırları içinde ilk önce “inanç tarzları” daha sonra da “denetm odağı” hakkında biraz açıklamada bulunalım. Daha sonra bilimsel yazında dindarlık veya dini inanç- lar ile denetm odağı arasında araştrmalarda hangi sonuçların elde edildiğine değineceğiz.

Abstract
This study surveyed the relatons between faith/worldview styles and locus of control. By employing Religious Attude Scale, the Scale of Faith/World View Styles, and Roter’s Internal-External Locus of Control Scale, it has been carry out with 955 undergraduate students in Turkish State University. It was found that individuals with an internal locus of control are signifcantly higher than individuals with an external locus of control in terms of religious attude. Moreover, -although it is not signifcantly- they have highly a style of “absolute faith” and signifcantly lower a style of “flexible faith” than the individuals with an external locus of control. In levels of Faith-styles, who are the closest to internal loci of control are the individuals with “flexible faith low- defnite faith high”. As a result, while “absolute faith” is the closest to internal loci of control, “flexible faith” is the closest to external loci of control.
