Abstract
There are numerous informaton and documents about the Otoman Empire in all over the world libraries and archives. However, it is surprising to see many countries that were not under the Otoman Empire also have various archives about the history of Otoman Empire. England is one of those countries. London is considered as a powerful city for it’s economic, social and educatonal background. It stands out that millions of quanttatve documents about the Otoman Empire are found in the natonal archives and the Britsh library in London. Therefore, this study holds the purpose to see if the archives in London enlighten the research about the history of the Otoman Empire.
