Abstract

Muslim population in Europe is increasing day by day with migration. This increasing Muslim population is directly affecting the demography. These migrations also cause a multicultural, multilingual population structure with multiple religions. The aim of this study is to investigate Muslim Turks who live in Germany as minority in the context of secularism. Germany is the country with the highest number of Turkish immigrants among the European countries. With Assumption that each country has its own secularism adventure, in the course of this study the issue will be addressed within Germany’s own history of secularism. In this article the situation of the first-migrating generation to the country will be compared with the 3rd generation. The change of these “guest workers” was tried to be observed by interviewing with this “new generation”.
