The student and teacher questionnaire was applied to 12 geography teachers and 44 students. The control group have taken the classes with 5e model and experimental group have taken the classes with 5e model and QR Codes. Pre and post tests have been conducted and it has been analyzed if there is a difference and whether that difference is significant or not. The control group hava scored 9.79 on the pre-test and 14.37 on the post-test. Experiment group have scored 9.4 on the pre-test and 15 on the post-test. In order to see that if the difference between control and experiment group is significant, Mann – Whitney U test has been applied and seen that the difference is not significant. Accaording to survey results; QR Codes, enable us to use time effectively and well, make students happy, positively affect students’ attitude towards the lesson, increase students’ motivation and are interesting for students. One of the most important differences of QR Codes is that they enable learning without time and place limit and give immediate feedback. The results also have shown that, the success of experiment group is higher than the control group but there is no significant difference. This study shows that, QR Codes present appropriate educational environments and methods according to the students’ interests, requests and talents. Within this context, QR Codes should be spread, integrated with EBA with almost every topic and enriched. },author={Fatih AKBAŞ-Recep BOZYİĞİT},year={2019},journal={Toplum Bilimleri Dergisi}}
