This study was conducted in Istanbul and because of each and every city has a different understanding and meanings atached to religion, results of this study should be evaluated only for this city. In this study questonnaire method was used and Family Resilience Measurement Tool was used in the questonnaire. Because of using resilience in the context of families, partcipants for this study was chosen among the married people and thus purposive sampling method was used in this study. In calculatng the sampling, “sampling calculator” was used and questonnaires were conducted with 166 people. However, some questonnaires were not flled adequately and therefore, were excluded from the analysis. As a result total of 160 questonnaires was included into the analysis. Correlaton analysis was used in the data analysis. Findings showed that religion has an effect on all sub-factors of the family resilience and thus this study has reached to conclusion of religious faith and values have a positve effect on the family resilience.},author={ -Adem AKARSU},year={2017},journal={Toplum Bilimleri Dergisi}}
