Abstract

Nûreddinzâde (d. 981/1574), one of the leading Halvat sheikhs of the nineteenth century, is the halife of Sofyalı Bâlî Efendi. Nûreddinzâde’s understanding of mystcism, Sharia and the atachment of the Ahl-i Sunnets in the Qur’an and Sunnah line; We can summarize it as verifying a cautous wahdat-i vücud away from extremes. Nureddinzade, which was frstly used by the statesmen as well as Kanuni and Sokullu himself, had an exceptonal place in the history of Sufsm, with the writngs he wrote and the disciples he had cultvated. Nureddinzade, in his rejecton of Bedreddin Simâvî's work Vâridât, wrote: The Hereafer, Ba’s, Haşr, Heaven and Hell, Angel, Satan and Gin, Hz. The state of Jesus, Allah’s will, anteriority of the world, has made considerable critcisms in the views of Simavi and Vâridât in the subjects of the Search of God
