Abstract

The violence culture effect in media, child and unjustreatment. It is seen that the effect of media is going up and it has become the most efcient socializaton way with globalisaton, rapid improvement in informaton and communicaton technology. On the other hand, the competton environment triggered by the globalisaton conditons leads to follow broadcastng policy where ratng and commercial are priority issues. As a mater of fact, whenflms, tv series, cartoons and news casts on tv, which are watched themostand which have a high impact are analyzed it is observed that most of them contain violence and promote the consumpton. Private media organizatons, mostly internatonal based and proft-oriented, assimilate all kinds of natonal moral values in order to promote consumpton for their own purposes. Hollywood cinema flms, cartoons and tv series lead to these kinds of broadcasts which manipulate brains professionally. Unfortunately, while applying such capitalist strategies, together with adults mostly defenceless children are being abused. Thus, the media is using mainly children and women as an advertsing material with these methods and focusing on factors that bless violence, sexuality, money and power in order to be watched more. At the current situaton, 21st century has turned into a century where instncton has become more important than ethical values. Defenceless children and young people who live in an environment where internatonal, insttutonal and personal violence became wide spread should be protected from the violence in media, so that they can grow up as healty individuals. In this context, partcularly in the prepared artcle RTÜK sources including many natonal and internatonal research and examples analyzed in the light of contemporary issues have tried to put forward solutons.
