In Turkey, there isn’t environmental educaton in the schools as a separate course. However, environmental educaton is given in a few courses as science, social studies lessons. When considering motvatonal impact of religious and moral values,it will be useful making an effectve environmental educaton in lessons of Religious Culture and Moral Knowledge. But, there are several environmental issue in different learning areas that in religious educaton programs. Whereas, environmental educaton should be made in lessons of Religious Culture and Moral Knowledge in order to contribute the soluton of global and priority problem as environmental polluton. For the realizaton of an effectve environmental educaton in lessons of RCMK, there is a need ecologically based approach that students can observe and learn by experience with the actvites.
