The main aim of the artcle is to demonstrate how the radicals misunderstand Allah’s sovereignty and put forward some suggestons to shed light on the issue. We can say that the main reason of tensions between religion and state is conflictng aspiratons and the competton between these two organizatons. This conflict and competton arise from the wish of these two organizatons to take over power and to design social and state life according to their epistemological priorites and ultmate goals. As in all major religious traditons, in the case of Islam, we see that there has also been a tensional relatonship between religion and state or religious and secular law. This tension roots from the meanings that are atributed to the understanding of Allah’s sovereignty. Allah’s dominaton and sovereignty over everything on the Earth in a cosmic and ontological sense is also perceived as absolute politcal sovereignty over peoples. From the perspectve of politcal philosophy, this kind of thinking can express itself as an excluding and killing strategy according to their percepton of what the source of sovereignty is, and how this sovereignty functons.},author={ -Halil AYDINALP},year={2010},journal={Toplum Bilimleri Dergisi}}
