Abstract
19. yy’in ikinci yarısı ile 20. yy’in başları, Türk ve İslam toplumları için fikri, siyasi, iktisadi, dini ve kültürel anlamda hareketli dönemlerin yaşandığı bir sürece tekabül etmektedir. İslam dünyasının başat aktörü Türk toplumu ve İslam ümmeti tarih sahnesindeki en zor süreçlerinden birini yaşadığı bu dönemde, sosyal, siyasi, iktisadi, dini ve kültürel birçok sorunla karşı karşıya kalmıştır. Karşılaşılan sorunların çözümü ve yeniden özgüvene dayalı ileriye doğru güçlü adımların atılabilmesi adına dönemin aydınları hedef aynı olmakla birlikte farklı birçok fikir ortaya koymuştur. Bu aydınlardan biri de büyük Asya’dan küçük Asya’ya kadar fikirleriyle etkili olmuş Yusuf Akçura’dır. Bu çalışmada önemli Türkçü aydınlardan ve “Pantürkizm’in Babası” olarak da tanınan Yusuf Akçura’nın din ve toplum görüşleri sosyolojik bir bakış açısıyla ele alınmaya çalışılmıştır.

Abstract
The second half of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century correspond to a period of time live in which moving periods for the Turkish and Islamic societies in sence of intellectual, political, economic, religious and cultural. The leading actor of the Islamic world, the Turkish society and the Islamic ummah, in this period when experienced one of the most difficult processes on the history scene, it faced many social, political, economic, religious and cultural problems. The intellectuals of the period presented many different ideas with the same aim which in order to the solution of the problems encountered and the strong steps forward based on self-reliance can be taken. One of these intellectuals is Yusuf Akçura, who was influenced by his ideas from great Asia to small Asia. In this study, Yusuf Akçura, who one of the important Turkist intellectuals and also known as "Father of Panturkism", his views on religion and society has been tried to be discussed with a sociological point of view.
